Resin is the medium of choice for Heloise for her dolls as it captures the translucent complexion of a child. The features of each doll are handpainted. The transparency of the eye is faithfully rendered by waterpaint then given its final crystal brilliance by being covered by a drop of resin. This particular Sophie Version 5 available is the No. 1 of 35. She is also available in two other outfits/hairstyles -- Version 4 and Version 6.
