Baby Kate is an awake baby who is hand sculpted by award winning artist Emily Jameson. She is cast in solid platinum silicone by Melissa McCrory. Kate’s skin tone is painted by the artist with a mottled complexion, just like a real newborn baby. The painting is very detailed, complete with shaded creases, veins, and nail tips! Kate’s hair has been rooted by Pam Bratcher, just one hair at a time, with soft, high quality mohair in a light auburn color. Kate has beautiful dark blue glass eyes that look just like a newborn baby’s! She measures ~18-1/2” long (with legs bent), weighs ~5 lbs., and has a head circumference of ~12-1/2”. Kate has 3/4 arms and full legs on a perfectly proportioned, fully jointed doe suede body. She is stuffed with glass beads and polyfil. She even smells like a real baby!

Kate will arrive home with her adorable floral sleeper, fuzzy blanket, real baby diaper, and numbered certificate of authenticity. She wears size newborn in real baby clothing.
