Baby Kate is an awake baby who was hand sculpted by award winning artist Emily Jameson. She was cast in soft platinum silicone by Melissa McCrory. Kate’s skintone is painted by the artist with a mottled complexion, just like a real newborn baby. The painting is very detailed, complete with shaded creases, veins, and nail tips! Kate’s lips, nails, around her eyes and inside her nose have all been glossed for realisim. Kate’s hair was rooted by Michelle Hagins, just a few hairs at a time, with soft, high quality mohair in a blonde color. Eyelashes and/or eyebrows can be added upon the new mommy’s request. Kate has beautiful dark blue German glass eyes that look just like a newborn baby’s! She measures 18.5” long (with legs bent), weighs about 5 lbs., and has a head circumference of 12”. Kate is stuffed with glass beads and polyfil. She has 3/4 arms and full legs on a fully jointed doe suede body!

Kate will arrive home with her adorable Carter’s smocked swing top and bottoms set, white headband, fuzzy pink blanket, real baby diaper, and numbered certificate of authenticity. She wears size newborn in real baby clothing.
